Importing from Excel

This feature allows you to import information from an Excel file (previously exported from Engineering Data Manager) used to edit bulk tags.

Open Query Browser.
Create a new query or select an existing query.
Click Export to excel file.
Click Import from excel file - Bulk tag edit ( ).
Note: Only the exported Excel files of the same iModel can be imported.

Select an excel file to import dialog appears.
Do one of the following:

Click Select file and then browse to select the Excel file that you want to import, and then click Open.

or
Drag and drop an Excel file onto the dialog.

The Excel file is imported. For example,
Click the Save icon ( ) to save the changes.
